New Harry Potter Behind-the-Scenes Photos and an Exclusive Clip

Here are some great behind-the-scenes photos from all of the past movies. If you click HERE you can see an exclusive clip of Gringotts from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I am choosing not to watch it because I don't want to ruin the movie. 16 days left!

Watson reveals Potter co-star crush

Watson reveals Potter co-star crush

Emma Watson has admitted she used to have a crush on a Harry Potter co-star… but maybe not the one you’d expect.

Instead of franchise hero Daniel Radcliffe or on-screen love interest Rupert Grint, she confessed to secretly falling for Tom Felton, who plays the villainous Draco Malfoy.

Speaking to Seventeen magazine, the 21-year-old actress (Hermione Granger in the films) said: “For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush.”

She added: “He totally knows. We talked about it. We still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that's cool."

Felton, 23, is currently in relationship with co-star Jade Olivia – who will play Malfoy’s wife in the upcoming film.

In the interview Watson also admits she finds it hard to play it cool around boys: "I'm a terrible game player. I'm so impatient, it's one of my worst traits!”

“I'll pretty much say to a guy, 'I like you, let's go hang out.' But my friends are like, 'You can't do that! You have to string this guy along. And I'm just like, 'No! I won't! I just want to go on the date!' I definitely haven't figured it out yet."

‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’, is released in the UK next month.

Celebrities or Models?

While rewatching The September Issue yesterday (a fantastic documentary on the inner workings of Vogue), I reconsidered a topic I've often overlooked in the past. Celebrities are often found on the cover of magazines all over the world. I'll sometimes buy a magazine I've never read before just because a favorite celebrity of mine is on the cover. Apart from simply endorsing and being the spokesmen and women for products, celebrities have also become some of the most sought after models in today's industry. However, they were never trained to model. They don't have the modeling resume that those who have worked for years at various agencies hold. So why use them as models? Well, for sales obviously. Some models even go the opposite way and become movie stars (see Rosie Huntington-Whitely in Transformers 3).

What do you think of this? Should celebrities stick to what they do best and give models a chance?

'Toy Story 4' in the Works According to Hanks

While out promoting his film Larry Crowne (out this weekend), Tom Hanks — the voice of Woody in Toy Story 1-3 said that a Toy Story 4 was in the works. After all of the promotions for Toy Story 3 being the last one of the loveable series, this announcement comes as a surprise.

Well, Hanks’ actual words were, “I think there will be yeah. Yeah, yeah. I think they’re working on it now. There you go.”

That doesn’t exactly strike a note of confidence into this film critic’s heart. Pixar already “toyed” (get it, get it?) with us in the Toy Story short that ran at the beginning of Cars 2. And while I love Toy Story, I felt like the third one ended like Titanic — in a way that made it pretty impossible to make another one. For those who haven’t seen the third one, it came out last year so don’t be offended by my spoiler in the next sentence. Toy Story without Andy is like jelly without peanut butter — the characters are still sweet but there’s nothing to hold them together.

What do you guys think? A welcomed addition to the Pixar family? Or just an excuse to have another $1 billion blockbuster?

Jessie J Devil Do It Like a Dude backwards

Jessie J Devil Do It Like a Dude backwards
Jessie J has received death threats since becoming famous.
The 'Nobody's Perfect' hitmaker has revealed both she and her family have been targeted by hate-filled individuals since she achieved pop success, but she refuses to waste her time worrying about what might happen to her.

In an interview in Q magazine, she said: “I've had people say, 'I wanna kill you and your family.' Death threats. I've had people say, 'I hope you get HIV and throat cancer at the same time.’
“I think the world has become obsessed with hating things. But people who wanna spread bad energy, I ain't got time for them to be in my psyche.”
The 23-year-old star – who is openly bisexual and abstains from drinking alcohol because of health problems she has suffered, including having a minor stroke aged 18 - has also revealed there have been rumours she is a devil worshipper because she makes an OK sign with her hands in her video for single 'Price Tag'.
She said: “This is 666 apparently. And to me it's saying OK. People have played 'Do It Like a Dude' backwards and said they can hear the devil.” - Bang Showbiz

X Factor final Wembley

X Factor final Wembley

X FACTOR finalists will head to WEMBLEY after show guru Simon Cowell ordered a spectacular end to the series.

The 2011 final will be held at the 12,500-seat Wembley Arena, the first time it has switched from its usual TV studio setting with an audience of just 300.
The move will make it one of the biggest talent shows ever, dwarfing the final of American Idol which is held at a 7,000-seat theatre in Los Angeles.
And Cowell has pledged to be there, despite his commitments to the US version of X Factor.
An insider said: "There may have been some concerns about the change in the judging panel, but viewers will forget all of that when they see the new-look show and final.
"We are very excited about making it bigger and better - with a bigger venue, bigger-name guests and more audience members and celebrities than ever before."
The X Factor is usually filmed at the nearby Fountain Studios, but hundreds of ticket applications have to be turned down each week.
The Arena show will go out over the weekend of December 10 and 11.
Cowell is also filming his new ITV1 gameshow Red or Black there.

Katona Rod Stewart

Katona Rod Stewart

KERRY Katona once asked Rod Stewart to marry her, she has revealed.

The ex-Atomic Kitten singer, 30, said: "I went to a charity football match when I was 19 and I asked him to marry me. He said his girlfriend wouldn't be too happy."
Kerry, speaking backstage to Absolute Radio before Rod's headlining performance at this weekend's Hard Rock Calling gig, said: "I used to argue all the time with the Atomic Kitten girls about what music we would have on in the background.

"I always wanted Rod Stewart and the girls would never let me listen to him.
"My dream is me and Rod on stage singing Tonight's The Night. I'd love that."

Coen Brothers Planning '60s Musical Biopic of Dave Van Ronk

Don't know who Dave Van Ronk is? If truth be told, neither did I. However, you've probably heard of the people he has inspired like Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell. Van Ronk was an American folk singer who lived in Greenwich Village and eventually was called the "Mayor of MacDougal Street." He was very influential in the '60s coffeehouse movement in Greenwich.

The Coen Brothers have a very promising past with music. Their 2000 film O Brother, Where Art Thou?'s soundtrack made it to number one on both the U.S. Billboard's Top Country Chart and Top Soundtracks Chart. According to Empire Online the film will only be loosely based on Van Ronk's life so I'll do my best to keep you updated as more information comes out. Interested?

First 'Brave' Trailer

True to what I reported earlier this week, this trailer seems a little more serious and dark than past Pixar films. I can't wait to see it though. The film is set to come out June 22, 2012.

Spielberg's Abe Lincoln Biopic Filmed in Richmond/Petersburg, Va.

Though my heart lies in NYC, my current summer home is in Richmond, Va. where my parents and I have lived for the last 11 years (when I'm not in school). Though little in the entertainment industry happens in Richmond, this year we do have something to keep us on the look out. I'm interning with Richmond Magazine this summer and they have just reported that Steven Spielberg's film Lincoln, starring Daniel Day Lewis and Sally Field, will be filming in my home town and in Petersburg.
The film is a biopic of the 16th president and will also star Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Robert Todd Lincoln and Tommy Lee Jones as Thaddeus Stevens. It's set to come out in December 2012, so in the meantime I will just have to stalk Spielberg around Richmond. Though it would be great to meet a director/producer I admire so much, I have to admit that the cast of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is much more attractive and probably more exciting. That one is set to come out June 22, 2012 and stars Benjamin Walker as Abe and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Todd Lincoln. Yet another example of two films that try to different approaches to similar topics. Which will you go see?

'Super 8's' Joel Courtney to Potentially Play Tom Sawyer in New Film

Joel Courtney's first film was this summer's blockbuster, Super 8. Super 8 was a fantastic movie that really brought me back to my childhood of watching E.T. and The Goonies. Not surprisingly, Courtney's performance has interested other directors looking for the next generation of child stars. He is currently in talks to play Tom Sawyer in a new film adaptation called Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn. Apart from reading the books, I grew up watching Tom and Huck (1995) starring the then-heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas.

So keeping in his tradition of helping me to relive my distant childhood, Courtney could potentially take over the role of the young, mischievous Mr. Sawyer. Film producer Jo Kastner plans to write and direct the film which is set to film in Bulgaria later this year. But I thought it took place on the Mississippi River?

Were you as impressed with Courtney's performance in Super 8 as I was? Will he make a good Tom Sawyer?

Below is the trailer for the 1995 film.

'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy to Potentially Make Film Adaptation of 'The Normal Heart'

Sorry for being away for so long H|U readers. I spent this past weekend in New York City, seeing four shows (two musicals and two plays) with my mother as we happily soaked up all that my favorite city had to offer.

My two favorite shows were the Catch Me If You Can musical (based off Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hank's 2002 film) and the play The Normal Heart. What originally attracted us to The Normal Heart was my mom's love of the actor Jim Parson's who has a main role on the Big Bang Theory. However, what stuck with me after the show was the moving story and the phenomenal acting from Joe Mantello, Ellen Barkin and the rest of the strong cast. The Normal Heart tells the story of a gay activist in the early '80s when hundreds of gay men were mysteriously dying from an unknown disease (later identified as AIDS). This activist and others like him were desperately trying to get the disease noticed and researched when few in the government were willing to listen. It was a very touching story and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. We were lucky to have seen the show. It's been selling out each performance and will only be on Broadway through July 10. However, Glee creator Ryan Murphy has plans to make its run a little more permanent.

His interest in making a film, potentially starring Mark Ruffalo, is not surprising. He wrote the screenplay to the film adaptation of Augusten Burrough's Running With Scissors and has made Kurt, the most outspoken, openly gay character on Glee, a prominent figure in the last season. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Murphy said, "I am moving forward with it. I have a couple great casting ideas. I’m having a big meeting with CAA about it, about where to do it, how to do it. I love Larry’s play. I’m so thrilled that he and the play finally got all this recognition. I think it’s a story that needs to be told. It’s a beautiful love story."

Below is an especially moving scene between the main character Ned Weeks (Joe Mantello) and his straight brother Ben (Mark Harelik). While I like Glee and think that the show has some strong actors, I'm not sure that Murphy has proven his creative depth. The main problem with the Glee story line is the fact that it rarely touches on the parts of the characters that may not be important to that particular episode. So you forget that Tina had a stutter or that Kurt feels left out until it's brought up in one episode specific to those issues. Without the consistency of characters, the show loses some credibility. What do you think? Does Murphy have what it takes to make such an important and potentially moving film?
