I'm not sure how I haven't heard about this until now, but for that, I apologize. This version of the Three Musketeers is just one of dozens that have already been made, but, surprisingly, the cast has quite a few stars.
Orlando Bloom, dream boat to some, girly man to others, will be playing the Duke of Buckingham and my favorite villain, Christoph Waltz, will be Cardinal Richelieu. Milla Jovovich from the Resident Evil films will play M'lady De Winter and Logan Lerman (who played Percy in Percy Jackson) will play D'Artagnan. Ray Stevenson, Matthew Macfadyen and Luke Evans will play the musketeers Porthos, Athos and Aramis. All three actors are fairly unknown, with the exception of Macfadyen who won the hearts of middle aged women everywhere when he play Mr. Darcy in the Keira Knightly remake of Pride and Prejudice.
The plot is familiar to the musketeers name. Basically they along with their friend D'Artagnan must defeated the spy, M'lady De Winter, and her employer, the evil Cardinal Richelieu, before he takes over the French throne and forces Europe into war. The movie is set to come out October 14, 2011. Check out the trailer below.
