Cue the accents and odd facial expressions. After mixed reviews of the performances of James Franco and Anne Hathaway, the Oscars have decided not to go for the "younger" demographic this year. A couple years ago when Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin hosted was one of the best Oscars I've seen. But last year's fiasco with James Franco dressing in drag and looking constantly stoned while Anne Hathaway overcompensated was a little too much to handle. I think they brought Murphy in as ringer. His humor seems appropriate for an award show on the level of the Oscars, and I can't see him making the overly offensive comments of Ricky Gervais. What do you guys think? Good choice?
