In this gothic, "twisted" version of Oliver Twist, Ashley Greene will star as Olivia Twisted, a 19-year-old heroine who leads a gang of orphans. They embark on what's supposed to be a kidnapping and end up getting thrown in the middle of a war between to gangs. There's no official director yet, but The Social Network's Michael De Luca is currently in charge of the project. Greene's only major role thus far has been as Alice Cullen in the Twilight films, so hopefully she can pull out a great performance and not just another gothic, sci-fi extravaganza. The film is supposed to come out next year, which coincidentally is the bicentennial of Dicken's birth.
