Get Him to the Greek

I had the good fortune of previewing this film two months in advance (it comes out June 4th) tonight. In what is supposed to be a vague sequel to 2008's Forgetting Sarah Marshall, director Nicholas Stoller chose to follow Russell Brand's hilarious rock star character — Aldous Snow.

Snow is recovering from some poor career choices and a recent break up. Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) works for a major music company run by Sergio Roma (P. Diddy who is HILARIOUS). It's Aaron's job to get Aldous to the Greek Theater in time for a big reunion concert. Along the way the two learn some important lessons and become friends.

When Scenes

WHEN Aldous' girlfriend is being interviewed and sits with her legs open in a skirt on TV.

WHEN Aaron kisses the British guy on both cheeks and tries to talk in an accent.

WHEN Aaron is at a party with Tom Felton who plays Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and says "I'm at a table over there. Feel free to bring Professor Snape. Come on we'll play some late night Quidditch."

WHEN Aaron drinks all of the alcohol in the limo so Aldous will be sober to perform on the TODAY show.

WHEN Aldous sings the song "The Clap" on the TODAY show.

WHEN Aaron has to sneeze and Aldous' drugs are up his butt.

WHEN Aaron smokes "the Jeffrey," and Aldous makes him stroke the furry wall.

WHEN Sergio is chasing them and says "you can't outrun me, I'm black."

WHEN Sergio gets hit by a car then continues to chase them.

WHEN Aldous jumps off a building into a pool hurts his arm and apologizes while his arm is bleeding into the water.

WHEN Aldous goes on stage. Looks back at Aaron with a scared face and then instantly changes to a serious rocker face.

Russell Brand filmed scenes of him performing as rock star Aldous Snow at his sell out comedy show - "Scandalous", at the O2 arena in London, in front of an audience of 20,000 fans. He was joined on stage by Jack Black and Jason Segel.

Emily Blunt was announced for the role of Jackie Q but had to pull out and Rose Byrne replaced her.

Russell Brand nearly chipped a tooth while filming 'The Clap' performance scene at the Today show.
