Pippa Middleton Modelling past

Pippa Middleton Modelling past

Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, tried her hand at modelling while studying at Edinburgh University, according to the Edinburgh Evening News. Pippa Middleton took part in university fashion shows similar to those where Kate first attracted the eye of Prince William.
Pippa took part in the school's charity fashion show at the City nightclub in 2004, at the age of 20. She was among a number of students to model clothes by Vivienne Westwood and Jean-paul Gaultier. The show was hosted by the Channel Four newsreader Jon Snow and the comedian Miles Jupp. One university pal was quoted as saying, "As soon as Pippa arrived at Edinburgh, she was assiduous about joining the right social circle. She was very charming about it, but quite ruthless in cultivating the right friends". Pippa's sister Kate attracted national attention in 2002 after wearing a see-through dress to a university fashion show. The black and turquoise creation, made by fashion graduate Charlotte Todd, sold for 78,000 pounds at an auction in central London in March 2011.

Pippa Middleton, who is currently dating the city banker Alex Loudon, was spotted meeting up with Prince Harry at The Troubador pub in London's Chelsea last month. Pippa and Harry have remained good friends since the Royal Wedding in 29th April 2011.

Pippa reveals how she keeps her figure

Pippa reveals how she keeps her figure

Pip, pip hooray! Pippa Middleton has spilled the beans on how she got her perfect figure.Kate’s sister revealed that weekly Pilates sessions are the secret to her svelte shape, which captivated millions during the Royal Wedding.

The 27-year-old Middleton sister attends classes at a Parson’s Green fitness center near to her home in West London and hailed the studio as a ‘weekly necessity’.

In a testimonial on the Pilates on the Go website, she praised her trainer, Margot Campbell. Pippa wrote: “As someone who is always 'on the go’, Pilates has been a wonderful escape from my busy lifestyle in London.
“Whether it’s 7am in the morning or 7pm at night I always leave feeling calm, refreshed and invigorated. Over the past few months I have noticed a huge difference in my core strength and posture and couldn’t recommend Margot more highly as an instructor.

“From breathing techniques, muscle toning to overall flexibility and relaxation, my Pilates sessions have become something of a weekly necessity that keeps me fit, happy and energized.”
Besides Pilates, party planner Pippa also leads a sporty lifestyle and nabbed her place at the exclusive Marlborough College on a sports scholarship.

Pippa’s figure – and her bottom in particular – became the hottest topic of the Wills and Kate’s nuptials last month.
Her figure-hugging white dress, designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, almost stole the limelight from Kate’s bridal gown.

Lady Gaga Sheer Blue Outfit 2011

Lady Gaga certainly knows how to raise the blood pressure of her fans.
The pop superstar dared to bare in a see-through blue dress yesterday as she posed for puictures at a photo call in Mexico city.
Leaving little to the imagination, Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – only had two strategically-placed pieces of striped tape preserving her modesty.

The 25-year-old superstar, who was in the Mexican capital city to promote her new album Born This Way, also debuted a new do, wearing what appeared to be a wig styled in a short bleach blonde bob with a blunt fringe.
The fringe and other strands were dyed black and she completed her wild look with her signature red lipstick, black eye make-up and a pair of outlandish platforms.
The singer recently revealed how she had witnessed the tragic events that occurred in new York on September 11 2001.
At the age of 15 Lady Gaga saw the Twin Towers collapse from the roof of her school, the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Manhattan, New York.

Best hats of the royal wedding guests

Best hats of the royal wedding guests
Kate Middleton is known for her love of standout hats, or fascinators. This regal accessory was also a popular choice for attendees of her wedding to Prince William. Click through the gallery to see some of the craziest, most elaborate hats worn to the royal wedding.
Princess Beatrice of York arrives to attend the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011 in London, England. The marriage of the second in line to the British throne is to be led by the Archbishop of Canterbury and will be attended by 1900 guests, including foreign Royal family members and heads of state. Thousands of well-wishers from around the world have also flocked to London to witness the spectacle and pageantry of the Royal Wedding.

Best and worst of Royal Wedding fashion

Best and worst of Royal Wedding fashion

The royal wedding has arrived, and it sure was fancy! The blushing bride, Kate Middleton, stunned in an Alexander McQueen gown, while Prince William looked dapper and utterly swoon-worthy in uniform. Check out the new royal couple, and all the lucky guests wearing proper morning dress attire and outrageous fascinator hats.
 Carole Middleton – A-

The mother of the bride wore Catherine Walker, perhaps in tribute to Princess Diana as she was one of her favorite designers. She looked very classy in an icy blue wool coat over a pale silk dress and matching hat by Jane Corbett.

 Lady Helen Taylor - C

She’s the Queen’s cousin, the great granddaughter of King George V, and was once the muse to Giorgio Armani. Today Taylor wore Erdem Moralioglu . We weren’t feeling the embroidered flowers on her jacket, or the white gloves.
 Joss Stone – B+

The singer looked genuiniely psyched to attend the big event and traded in her typically bohemian attire for an on-trend honeysuckle pink shift dress and matching jacket and pumps. It was a festive look, and even with the hat it wasn’t too stuffy
 The bridesmaids - A

As is British tradition, the little ladies were dressed similarly to the bride, and their dresses were made by British designer Nicki Macfarlane using the same fabric as Kate’s McQueen gown. Lady Louise Windsor, Margarita Armstrong-Jones, Grace van Cutsem, and Eliza Lopes wore box-pleated dresses hand-finished with English Cluny lace and gold silk sashes. How cute are their little puff sleeves?! The accessories were equally adorable. Each girl wore satin Mary Janes with Swarovski crystal buckles from England's Rainbow Club, and a lily-of-the-valley hair wreath inspired by the flowers Carole Middleton used in her own wedding.
 Princess Anne – B

The Princess Royal wore a lilac dress and hat with a coordinating floral coat and nude heels. It was a bold choice, but we think she pulled it off!

 James Middleton - B

The bride’s brother also wore a yellow vest… and a serious tan. He looks like a young Jude Law. So handsome!
 Tara Palmer-Tomkinson – A

The English socialite wore a striking head-to-toe blue outfit and matching Philip Treacy fascinator. This hat was our favorite of the day!
 Queen Elizabeth – B

The queen is known for her love of color, and today she wore a joyful, bright yellow Angela Kelly ensemble. The designer is a close confidant of the queen, and currently serves as curator in jewelry, insignias, and wardrobe. Elizabeth accessorized with the Queen Mary’s lover’s knot brooch.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, aka the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - A

The bride was absolutely breathtaking this morning in her Alexander McQueen gown. Creative director Sarah Burton used hand-cut English lace and French Chantilly lace throughout the bodice and skirt, while the ivory and white satin gazar skirt was designed to emulate a flower. How lovely! We loved Kate’s sweetheart bodice and the lace sleeves, and felt the dress looked both retro and modern at the same time. It reminded us of Grace Kelly’s wedding gown, only more wearable.

William wore a Colonel of the Irish Guards uniform, which features a scarlet red jacket, blue sash from the Order of the Garter, and a forage cap. The Army's honorary Irish Guards position, which he earned in February, is his highest military title. William stood tall and proud in the bright color, but his best accessory was his glowing smile when he finally saw Kate at the altar.
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – D

The cousins to Prince William and Prince Harry and daughters of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York (who wasn’t invited to the wedding), definitely made a statement with their flashy ensembles and Philip Treacy hats. Eugenie’s dress was completely unflattering, while Beatrice’s hat looked like an octopus on her head. Not good.
 Sir Elton John – B+

If anyone can pull off a flashy look it’s musical phenom (and close friend of the late Princess Diana), Elton John, and he did not disappoint in a yellow vest and contrasting purple tie. His husband David Furnish stuck to a neutral grey palette to keep the focus on the singer.
 Prince Charles - B

The prince has held the rank of Admiral of the Royal Navy since 2006 and so today he wore the ceremonial uniform of the Royal Navy Number One Dress decorated with lots of flair. Forget a tuxedo, this uniform is official.
David Beckham A- and Victoria Beckham B-

Unlike some of the more colorful guests, a seven months pregnant Victoria Beckham donned a more somber, dark navy dress from her own fall collection, with a matching Philp Treacy pillbox hat and Christian Louboutins. Her look was rather boring and predictable, but we understand it can be tricky to dress a baby bump. David Beckham looked dashing as ever in a Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit with charcoal morning coat, slicked back hair, and a top hat.
 Guy Ritchie – B+

The director and ex-husband of Madonna certainly knows how to dress. His complimenting shades of grey and pinstripe pants are perfectly coordinated.

 Prince Harry – A

The best man and brother of the groom wore the uniform of Captain of the Household Cavalry. The gold waist belt and rope embellishments look awesome against the dark coat, but Harry’s messy hair and perpetual grin really sold us on this look. Love it.
 Pippa Middleton - A

The maid of honor and wore Alexander McQueen, just like her sister, and her gown was stunning enough to be a wedding dress itself! This gown is very simple but elegant with a low flutter neckline and tiny buttons all down the back.
 Chelsy Davy B-

Prince Harry’s on-and-off girlfriend wore an aqua green, bias reverse satin dress and matching faille silk jacket by Italian designer Alberta Ferretti. The color complimented her hair, eyes, and skin tone beautifully, but something about her appearance looks disheveled. Knowing her reputation, she may have been up late partying last night.

 Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall B-

Camilla wore Anna Valentine to the royal wedding—the same designer she wore to her own nuptials back in 2005. Her two-tone champagne and pale blue coat has a pleated skirt, with a matching champagne dress underneath. The look is complimented with a Philip Treacy hat and Jimmy Choo heels.
Queen Sofia of Spain, Prince Felipe of Asturias and Princess Letizia of Asturias – B

Many members of European royalty were in attendance. Here the military dressed Prince Felipe is flanked by his mother, Queen Sofia, in an all purple getup and his wife, Princess Letizia, in shades of pink. We’re kind of obsessed with the retro, rose colored embellished column dress.

Prince William and Kate Middleton Brand-New Portrait

Prince William and Kate Middleton Brand-New Portrait

Just hours before their big day, a beautiful, new black and white portrait of Prince William and Kate Middleton has been released.
Taken by famed photographer Mario Testino, the image shows the couple casually dressed in similar matching white shirts and grinning from ear-to-ear as they get ready to walk down the aisle.
The picture is featured in William and Kate’s wedding program, which was released on Thursday and includes the following message from the soon-to-be married duo.
“We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives,” it reads. “The affection shown to us by so many people during our engagement has been incredibly moving, and has touched us deeply. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone most sincerely for their kindness.”

Keira Knightley bridesmaid

Keira Knightley bridesmaid

Keira Knightley was in the wedding party when her brother Caleb Knightley and Kerry Nixon were wed at Pollokshields Burgh Hall in Glasgow, Scotland this weekend.

The Pirates of the Caribbean' star looked stunning at her brother's wedding on Sunday pulling off the bridesmaid look quite well with her hair up, while wearing a V-neck purple dress which was tied up at the shoulders.

Keira Knightley and Colin Firth could take on roles in ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’.

The British stars have appeared in different adaptations of Jane Austen’s classic novel ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and the director of the latest take on the story, Craig Gillespie, says he wouldn’t rule them out of being involved in his movie.

Asked if he is planning to introduce Keira or Colin in the new film, he said: “I hadn’t thought about that, but you’re definitely giving me food for thought.”

Despite the unusual premise of the new film, ‘Lars and the Real Girl’ director Craig is determined to keep the love story between the main characters as the central theme because otherwise he believes audiences will not be impressed.  “There’s a lot of action in this. There are a lot of big set pieces in this film, which is exciting. Basically, as I said to the studio, at the core it’s a love story between Elizabeth and Darcy. If that’s not working, and we’re not rooting for those two get together through all this craziness, the movie is not going to work. That’s key to me, to have this great emotional story going on, and all this craziness.”

“It has such a great mix of humor and horror. I just love being able to juggle those two aspects. The humor is inherent in the ‘Pride and Prejudice’ side, but taking that and accenting it with zombies is just a brilliant and fun idea. And there are such strong female characters, which is nice to have. It’s a great clash.”

Most Bizarre Outfits Of Lady Gaga 2010-2011

Most Bizarre Outfits Of Lady Gaga 2010-2011
Pop sensation Lady Gaga is not only known for her music, but also for her outlandish fashion taste. When it comes to clothes and stage costumes, she goes all out to make sure they will either frighten, delight or excite. Gaga’s style is fresh, bizarre and ultimately unique. She enjoys wearing vintage pieces, which she mixed with contemporary designers and even pieces which she creates herself. Gaga insists that she pours all her money into creating these eyepopping costumes:    ”I spend all my money on wardrobe and props. I don’t care about money.” And when money isn’t enough, what’s a pop diva to do? ”I design, I hand-make, I borrow — whatever it takes.”

Some of her outfits are cool, some crazy – but they always represent her outrageous sense of style and because of this, she will always be an icon – an unmistakable figure in both music and fashion – thanks to her appealing music and offbeat style. This is more then proof that Gaga is a consistently interesting dresser – sometimes it looks awful, sometimes stunning – but it always grabs the attention of the on-looker and captivates them.
