Best and Worst Emmys Looks

So the Emmy's were Sunday night and some of the outfits were amazing...others not so much. Let's start off with THE BEST. Claire Danes looked gorgeous in her champagne colored dress. Good thing, because her film, Temple Grandin, won 5 Emmys.

Next we have Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burka. The How I Met Your Mother "ladies man" was looking dashing in his grey suit and skinny tie.

Glee's Jayma Mays is next with her perfectly fitted Burburry gown. It was definitely a classier, more daring look than her character Emma would have opted for.

Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter was another favorite. Her floor-length, one-sleeved gown was one that girls will envy for years to come, just like her annoyingly perfect figure.

Finally, Lo Bosworth from The Hills. Her look was incredibly sophisticated, yet completely different from the regular red carpet trends. Her bee-hive hair style was very '50s, and her white pumps were the perfect touch.

Now for: THE WORST
Mad Men is a shown known for its ground-breaking fashion. Unfortunately, one of its stars, January Jones, looked pretty ridiculous on the red carpet. Her blue, strapless dress looked more like a combination of a bad prom dress and some doilies than something you'd expect on the red carpet.

Next is Anna Paquin. Now I'll be honest, I don't know anything about True Blood, but this dress is enough to make anyone kill themselves, and NOT rise from the dead. Its cut and awkward pin up at the bottom make it look more like a sewing project than a gown.

This last one I say with a heavy heart (being the die hard Gilmore Girls fan I am). Lauren Graham wore the toga dress gone wrong. It was not flattering so the designer decided to throw in huge slit that doesn't go with the dress. Try harder next time Lorelai!
