Set to shoot Sept. 27, Geoffrey Fletcher (the screenwriter for Precious) is making his directorial debut with the film Violet & Daisy. The movie is about two teenage assassins who are assigned a job that's a little more than they expected. According to IMDB Alexis Bledel is set to play Violet and Variety just announced that Saoirse Ronan (The Lovely Bones) and James Gandolfini have just been cast. There's no release date yet.
