I have to say, I'm impressed with Robert Pattinson's work outside of the Twilight series. His role in this year's Water for Elephants was well acted and this new lead role in the period piece Bel Ami looks promising. Pattinson will play an ambitious man who rises to power in Paris by sleeping with almost every influential woman in town. Unfortunately, they're all married and know that they are one of several woman he's seducing. Whoops. Well you can't blame the boy? After a couple years of dating Kristin Stewart, he's probably eager to find something or someone new. The film is based on the novel by Guy de Maupassant and along with Pattinson will star Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci, Natalia Tena (Tonks from Harry Potter) and Kristin Scott Thomas. IMDB says this film is set to come out this year, but no official date has been set yet. Will you go see it?
