American Invasion! After photos surfaced earlier today of Meryl Streep as British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, actress Dakota Fanning is set to play a different, but very British, Margaret. Fanning has signed on to be in the film Girls' Night Out, in which she will play a teenage Princess Margaret who went out with her sister Elizabeth on VE Day. The film will be inspired by true events that took place when the girls were allowed to leave Buckingham Palace and celebrate on May 8, 1945. The film will be directed by Michael Hoffman (The Last Station) and we're still waiting to hear who has been selected to play Princess Elizabeth. I'll keep you posted!

Dakota Fanning to play young Princess Margaret in 'Girls' Night Out'
