'Ender's Game' Movie

You may recognize it as the sci-fi book you had to read in middle school, or perhaps you're a life-long fan of Orson Scott Card's 1985 book. Either way, The Ender's Game movie has been a long time coming.

In the book, a boy named Ender Wiggin is selected to save the world from the aliens called buggers. There's a more complicated back story with his family and Battle School, but to go into that I'd have to time travel back to the sixth grade when I first read this book. Rather than go through that hassle, you could look it up on SparkNotes (like many kids in my sixth grade class) or wait for the trailer to come out.

Hugo actor Asa Butterfield was recently cast to play Ender and Gavin Hood (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) is set to direct the film. It's scheduled to come out March 15, 2013. Will you go see it?
