New director considers 'Bridget Jones 3'

After Bridesmaids director Paul Feig became just another entry in Ms. Jones' diary, a new director might step up to the challenge. British director Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty) is reportedly in the running to take on Helen Fielding's character for a third installment. Though Fielding only wrote two books about Bridget, she has written a script for the third film and is just trying to find a director. Renée Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant are all on board and shooting is set to begin early next year.

Is it too late for another Bridget film? The last one, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, came out in 2004. I say no way! Keep the wine and Christmas jumpers coming!
