Bret, you've got it going on. It seems that the melodious duo might be starting the big-screen process. According to Total Film, Bret McKenzie was quoted saying,"We're gonna try and do a movie. We just need a story," while promoting for the new Muppets movie (he wrote several songs on the soundtrack). So clearly they are in the very early stages, but for those of us who have had to trick people with HBO into watching the show, a potential movie is exciting news.
Jemaine Clement, the other Conchord, has already starred in several films, the most memorable being his role as Kieran in Dinner for Schmucks.
