Based on the novel written by Jonathan Safran Foer (Everything is Illuminated), this movie follows the story of Oskar, a talented boy who loses his father in the 9/11 attacks. It is directed by Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot, The Hours, The Reader) and stars Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, John Goodman, James Gandalfini and Viola Davis. Oskar is being played by Jeopardy! winner Thomas Horn. The trailer at least seems to be beautifully filmed, bringing back those hard to watch scenes from that fateful day in our history. Though the trailer says "December" the U.S. release date is January 20, 2012. Will you go see it?
